myrio express VIs

Hey

I need some help with myrio..Everytime i use an express VI from myrio palette the program runs very slowly and the VI's do not work at all. Do I have to do anything before using the express VI ?  I actually want to use the encoder express VI.

I also want to write some data in text files.  I am using the blocks Open/Create/Replace, Write to text file, Format into string and Close file in this order but again they do not work.
